A late walk out on the Way after a lovely weekend just pottering around in the garden. Iam usually an early bird returning home with a photographic bonanza with a collection of critters, creatures and flaura with a big grin from ear to ear but Iam still happy with this photo of the A frame steps and clouds up and beyond.........

Caterpillar's of the week

caterpillar's of the week. A Mullein moth caterpillar with its striking black and yellow markings.

How I found it I don't know and after a flick through my book with several onlookers it was I come to the conclusion it is called The Drinker.

June 9th

Small Skipper, Common Blue, A tatty Small Copper and I beleave to be a Silver Y moth all found by Waterloo leisure close to the lakes. The meadow that is now an eighth of its size due to a pitch and putt that nobody seems to use is out in colour. Also I found blue and red Damselflies in the area. It appears to be a place thriving in diversity despite alot of the area being cut back...
